Eat different kinds of foods, especially fruit and vegetables. If you eat different foods, you more likely to get what your body needs.

Drink water and milk often. Your body about 70% water, so you need lots of water keep healthy. You should drink six to eight glasses of water every day. Don't drink lots of sweet drinks because sugar is bad for your teeth. Milk important for your health too.

Get enough sleep. Your body needs to r every day. Adults(成人) need seven to nine hours of sleep every night, and students aged between14 and 17 need eight to ten hours of sleep. And students aged between 6 and 13 need nine to eleven hours of sleep.

Do some exercise every day. You can go for a walk, go swimming or play football. You need exercise because it can make you fit and strong. And it makes you happy too!

Limit(限制) screen time. You may spent a lot of time watching TV, playing video games using the computer. The more time you spend on these activities, the less time you will have for doing outdoor activities. Try to spend no more than two hours a day on you screen.

Everyone wants to relax after working or studying for a long time. I have many ways of relaxing myself. Let me tell you some of my favorites. 

I am a big sports fan（粉丝）, so my way to relax is to watch or play many kinds of sports. My favorite is tennis, but I am interested in all kinds of sports. Whether（无论）I am playing tennis or watching a game on TV, it is exciting to see team members trying their best. It's surprising to see players playing very well. It's true that playing sports is not physically(身体上地) "relaxing", but I find it really cool, and a good way of "relaxing" my brain（大脑）after a day's hard work.

I enjoy listening to music, and I always have some music playing in my free time. I listen to all kinds of music, but I enjoy listening to beautiful piano music. Some people can't study when they listen to music, but for me, I believe I can study better(更好) by listening to light songs.

Some people choose to relax by travelling(旅行). I don't have a favorite place, but I hear that travelling in Japan is really enjoyable. I like visiting different kinds of places and eating famous snacks（小吃） there. The beautiful view and delicious food can make me forget all my problems. I also enjoy sightseeing and seeing the people from place to place.

Many people always say that listening to spoken English is too hard for them. But if you don't understand what people are saying, how can you talk with them? It may be difficult, but learning by listening is necessary.

 As we know, different people have different pronunciations of the same word. Standard pronunciation is important for English speaking as well as for listening. In China, people from one area may not understand what people from another area are saying because of the different Chinese dialects(方言). Standard Chinese pronunciation can help people from different places understand each other easily.  

 It is the same as English. If your pronunciation is not standard, it is hard for other people to understand you.  

 If you want to learn how to listen to English, the following ways are helpful.  

 Get some good books with tapes. Do the exercises, from the simple to the difficult, step by step.  

 You can also watch English-language films and TV programs, listen to English-language radio.  

Try to listen every day, even if only a few minutes. At first you may understand few words. Don't give up. Just listen.

 Remember to read and speak English every day. It will help you to listen better, spend an hour reading English every day. Finally you will notice that you are making progress.  

Talk to English-speaking foreigners as often as possible. Foreigners will speak slowly with you, use simple words, and use body language to help you understand them. Don't be afraid to talk to them. They won't mind if you have trouble because they may have more trouble making themselves understood in Chinese.

Every year, millions of birds are killed or hurt when they fly into buildings. Why does this happen?  Birds are flying into windows and tall buildings that are all covered by glass.

Many birds fly from one place to another. Most of the time, they live in the wild, such as forests and wetlands.  They might see small trees and flowers inside a window and want to rest on these plants. The birds do not know there is glass between them and the plants.  

Some birds fly at night. They use the moon and stars to help guide them in the right direction. Tall buildings with lights on at night can confuse（迷惑）the birds.  The birds see the light, but they cannot tell that the light is coming from inside a building. They fly toward the light and crash into a building. On many mornings, there might be several dead birds lying on the ground.

  Many office buildings now turn off their lights at night. This helps reduce the number of birds that fly into buildings and it also helps save energy.

Making your school a better place will make everyone around you happier and will get you more exited to go every day. Besides, a better place will also make you more productive. The following are some of the ways to make your school a better place.

♦  Do not stay silent when you see another student getting hurt by others. Speak up confidently and tell them to stop. This will help create a better atmosphere (气氛) at school.

♦Try to deal with arguments between other kids. When you see other students in an argument, you can help deal with the problem.After all, many arguments in school are just misunderstandings between two people.

♦   If you know that other students have difficulty learning a subject that you're good at, you can help them by teaching them in that subject. Helping other students to improve their grades will help create a positive atmosphere in school.

♦Make friends with lonely students. If you notice a student who doesn't have many friends or sits alone at lunch, make it a point to become their friend.   So why not encourage other people to become friends with them?

Brainstorming is the practice of coining up with ideas or solutions. But we do have some rules to follow for successful brainstorming.

Focus on quantity （数量）over quality. When it comes to brainstorming, the more ideas, the better.

Don't worry about the quality of your ideas for now. Remember that your goal is to come up with as many ideas as possible. Even if none of them are perfect, you'll still have many creative ideas to use for your final plan.

Encourage big or unusual ideas. Although unusual ideas may not be immediately practical, just creating those ideas gives your brain training. It can also help to produce creative solutions that are hard to come up with.

Don't say no to the ideas of others. You can put together the best parts of different ideas to create new, even better ones. Even if you're not brainstorming as a group, you should still think about sharing your ideas with others and asking them for their advice.

You don't have to regard yourself as a very creative person to come up with excellent ideas and solutions at once. Even if you don't find the perfect solution, just practicing it can help to improve your creativity. Put these tips together and you are sure to come up with some great ideas.
