For centuries, human beings have dreamed of traveling into space, orbiting(围绕……运行) our little blue planet, and appreciating incredible views of sunrises and sunsets. And soon, it seems that our dream will finally come true, as US startup Orion Span announced on April 6 that it planned to launch the first hotel in space this year. It will be ready to welcome guests the following year.

The space hotel, Aurora Station, will orbit 320 kilometers above Earth, circling it every 90minutes. It's capable of housing two crew members and four guests. The crew members will likely be former NASA astronauts who worked on the International Space Station. However, there's a catch: Each, guest must pay at least $9.5 million (60 million yuan) for a 12-day stay at the hotel

Once aboard the Aurora Station, guests will find many exciting things to do. According to Orion Span, guests can enjoy the excitement of zero-gravity as they fly throughout the space hotel They can watch 16 sunrises and sunsets every day and view the northern and southern auroras (极光)through the many windows. They can take part in research experiments like growing food and even take it home as a souvenir. And they can stay in touch with their families and friends via a high-speed internet connection.

But most importantly, the trip will offer a real sense of what it's like to live in space. "The premise (前提) of Aurora Station is for guests to live, feel, and breathe what it's like to be an astronaut, "Frank Bunger, founder of Orion Span, told the Robb Report. "The food and drinks are freeze-dried products. It's not going to be five-star dining. Fire and gas don't work the same way in space as they do on Earth. "

To better prepare guests for space travel the company will require a health screening and provide a three-month training program that helps guests understand basic spaceflight, orbital mechanics(轨道力学) and life in the pressurized environment of space. Some may have doubts about the project, but the company even has plans to turn part of Aurora Station into private apartments. "Future Aurora owners can live in, visit, or sublease(转租) their space apartment, "Bunger said in a news release. "This is an exciting frontier and Orion Span is proud to pave the way."

A study of Australian teens' Instagram (a popular photo social media platform) usage found 57% of Australian teenagers use it, while 30% reported being contacted by a stranger, and 20% reported being sent inappropriate unwanted content.

Facebook is considering launching a version of Instagram for children under the age of 13 to safely use it. Currently the company does not allow people who are under 13 to create an account on the platform. A spokesperson for Facebook, announced the company was exploring a parent-controlled version, similar to the Messenger Kids app that is for kids between 6 and 12.

I'm an 18-year-old pre-medical student, tall nd good-looking, with two short story books and quite a number of essays my credit. Why am I singing such praises of myself? Just to explain that he attainment of self-pride comes from a great deal of self-love, and to attain it, one must first learn to accept oneself as one is. That was where my struggle began.

Born and raised in Africa,I had always taken my African origin as burden. My self-dislike was further fueled when my family had to relocate to Norway, where I attended a high school. Compared to all the white girls around me, with their golden hair and delicate lips, I ,a black girl, had curly hair and full, red lips. My nose often had a thin sheet of sweat on it, whatever the weather was. I just wanted to bury myself in my shell crying "I'm so different!"

What also contributed to my self-dislike was my occasional stuttering (口吃), which had weakened my self-confidence. It always stood between me and any fine opportunity. I'd taken it as an excuse to avoid any public speaking sessions, and unknowingly let it rule over me.

Fortunately, as I grew older, there came a turning point. One day a white girl caught my eye on the school bus when she suddenly turned back. To my astonishment, she had a thin sheet of sweat on her nose too, and it was in November! "Wow," I whispered to myself, "this isn't a genetic(遗传的) disorder after all. It's perfectly normal. " Days later, my life took an-other twist(转折). Searching the internet for stuttering cures, I accidentally learned that such famous people as Isaac Newton and Winston Churchill also stuttered. I was greatly relieved and then an idea suddenly hit me—if I'm smart, I shouldn't allow my stuttering to stand between me and my success.

Another boost to my self-confidence came days later as I was watching the news about Oprah Winfrey, the famous talkshow host and writer—she's black too! Whenever I think of her story and my former dislike of my color, I'm practically filled with shame.

Today, I've grown to accept what I am with pride; it simply gives me feeling of uniqueness. The idea of self-love has taken on a whole new meaning for me: there's always something fantastic about us, and what w need to do is learn to appreciate it.
