1.  阅读下面短文,从每题所给的A、B、C、D四个选项中选出最佳选项。

①It is known that China is the first country to grow, produce and drink tea.

②Although there are hundreds of kinds of Chinese tea, we can find several basic kinds. For example, green tea has the longest history with the largest production, such as longjingand maofeng. But too much green tea is bad for sleeping. Black tea is named for its special tea leaves. It tastes sweet and is good for health. Oolong tea which is mainly produced in Fujian, Guangdong and Taiwan, is most famous for dahongpao. This orange-red tea comes with an unusual smell.

③Tea is important in Chinese people's daily life. They drink tea everywhere. It's also the tradition in China to make tea for friends. Recently, taking a break for "stone-boiled" tea(围炉煮茶)with friends is a fashion. It shows tea is more popular with Chinese young people.

④Tea has a great influence on the world, too. More and more foreigners(外国人) love Chinese tea. "What Chinese tea has brought to me means a lot to me. " As a Chinese tea lover, Sang, an American man, has taught about tea since 2012. "As I teach my friends, most of them get the art of tea and love it. I want to share Chinese tea with more people, and at the same time share the friendly Chinese friends and the colorful Chinese culture. "

⑤So you see, a cup of tea connects different places, connects you and me, connects the West and China, and shows the character and life of Chinese people.

(1) How many basic kinds of tea are mentioned in Paragraph 2? A. Two. B. Three. C. Four. D. Five.
(2) Why does the writer take Sang as an example? A. To show Sang's experience with tea. B. To describe the colorful Chinese culture. C. To show foreigners' love for Chinese tea. D. To talk about Sang's friendly Chinese friends.
(3) Which of the following shows the structure of this passage? A. B. C. D.
(4) What might be the best title for the passage? A. Tea: A Healthy Drink B. Tea: Chinese Culture C. Tea: A Chinese Favorite D. Tea: An Important Part of Life

Why are you study habits different from those of your friends? Why do you seem to learn faster in some classes while more slowly in others? One reason you may not know is that people have different types. Scientists say there are three different learning types: Visual(视觉型), Auditory(听觉型), and Kinesthetic (动觉型).

Visual learners learn best by seeing. If you seem to easily remember information from pictures, graphs(图表), and videos, you are probably a visual learner. You're not good at copying down what the teacher says in class. Never mind. You can draw graphs or pictures instead, if you find that works better for you.

Auditory learners learn best by hearing. If you seem to easily remember things by hearing them, then you are probably an auditory learner. You must listen carefully while the teacher is speaking because it's the easiest way for you to learn . Sometimes you may find that taking notes tops you from listening carefully. After class, you can write down what you remember or borrow your friend's notes to copy.

Kinesthetic learners learn best by doing. If you seem to learn best by working with your hands, you are probably a kinesthetic learner. Taking notes by writing can make you pay close attention to information as you receive it. Of course, you can learn best by making full use of labs or other class activities.

Hope you learn better by knowing what your personal learning type is.

It's very usual in Shanghai to see people out walking their dogs. But it's not a common sight to see dogs out walking people. These "out walking people" dogs are special: they are guide dogs and their owners are blind.

Trained guide dogs in Europe and America have been used to help blind people for around 100 years, but it is a new thing in China. A guide dog training center was set up in Shanghai in 2007 and there were only about twenty working guide dogs in the city. There was a city law(法律) that pets and animals shouldn't walk in shops or hospitals. That's why many guide dogs and

their owners were not allowed when they went shopping or tried to take a bus. But guide dogs are not really pets. They are working dogs and their job is to help blind people walk.

Shanghai made a law in 2011: Guide dogs and their owners should be allowed to go to the shops or the hospitals. Blind people and their guide dogs are able to go into many shops now. But the law doesn't make a difference. Only by opening people's eyes and changing most people's attitudes(态度) can guide dogs and their owners go anywhere anybody else can go.
