"Slow train"is a lifeline in China's remote regions. Train No.5629/5630, is the only passenger train serving on the Sichuan-Guizhou Railway Line, is one of the 81 pairs of slow trains operating in China.
The pair of trains running between Chongqing and Zunyi city of Guizhou Province (stop) at 20 stations on the 300-kilometer journey. Running for nearly 30 years, the trains,with the (low) ticket price of only 6 yuan are still providing convenience for people (live) in the Wumeng Mountain area.
Though it is home to the world's most developed high-speed railway network, China still keeps the slow train services in the less-developed regions for people without access other means of transport. The slow trains, carrying the hope of local people, move forward (steady) and surely with a unique rhythm.
The slow train is cure for the dullness of life, bringing stories from the outside.Every time the slow train (expect) to pull into the station, workers, the old, (child) and dogs all stand together on the platform. The train only stays for two minutes, but it is enough to wash away loneliness of the (tire) people.
