Have you ever heard of Kong Xiangdong? He is a world-famous classical pianist and composer. He is well-known his work Forever Friends, a song for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. Even now, people all around the world are still (bring) together by the music of the song written by him.
Kong was born on October 22, 1968 in Shanghai, when he was young, he showed interest music. However, it was not easy for his parents to buy (he) a musical instrument at that time. At the age of seven, he was lucky enough to get a piano. He practised it quite hard every day. He never thought of giving up, he met with a lot of difficulties on the road of music. Because of his talent (才能)and hard work, he became famous soon. In 1986, he became the (young) prize winner of Moscow's Tchaikovsky International Competition.
After years of (play) classical music, as an ambitious (有雄心的)musician, Kong felt it boring to play the same music in different (city) of the world. He also thought that playing (tradition) Chinese music with the modern piano could help take it to the rest of the world, and he kept trying it. As a result, he (successful) brought Chinese folk music and Western classical music together.
