    Do you know Big Ben? Big Ben is not a name of a man. It is the name of a big clock in London.

    London is the capital of England. This clock has four faces, so you can read the time on every face of Big Ben. Each face is the size (尺寸) of a bus. The hands are about four metres long. It is about the size of two people standing on the top of each other(互相).

    If you go to London, you may want to visit the Houses of Parliament(大厦). There you can find Big Ben sitting on the top of the clock tower (钟楼) in the Houses of Parliament.     A good friend is always around you. We often have some problems about making friends. There are some ideas that can help you.

    Wear clean clothes. Wearing clean clothes is very important. It will let others like you and go to you often.

    Smile. It means that you are friendly. When you find someone is the friend you want, just smile and say "hi" Smiling can help you make friends easily.

    Meet the friends of your new friends. Your new friends must also have their other friends. It's a great chance to know more friends. Have lunch with them or play with them after school. Then you'll make more friends.

    Play around and be open. If your friends are in a club or do sports, why not join them? Invite them to your house, or go swimming with them, and try to look for any reason to be with them. But never do anything if they say "no"!
