Anyone who reads books or newspaper in Chinese should thank Wang Xuan, a pioneer of modern Chinese-language printing. 

Wang 1 as the father of Chinese-language typesetting (排版). He invented a computerized laser photo composition system (计算机激光排照系统) for Chinese characters in the 1970s, turning 2 new page in the history of printing in China. 3 Wang's invention, people printed books and newspapers with movable block type (活字印刷). This was invented 4 Bi Sheng in 1040. It would take more than 30 people 8 hours a day 5 just one page of a newspaper.

The app uses artificial intelligence (AI) to analyze (分析) the facial expressions of cats and dogs. Then it can tell you what type your pet is and how it is feeling. It can show the five most common feelings—happy, angry, neutral (不带感情色彩的), sad and scared. 

Researchers at the University of Melbourne developed the app. The key technology used in the app is facial recognition (识别), a common use of AI. We can unlock our mobile phones or enter train stations with facial recognition readers. But this is the first time that the technology has been used with animals.

The app's AI was first taught to recognize a picture of an animal. Then, it was taught to recognize the facial features of cats and dogs. Next came the most important step—teaching it to detect feelings based on certain facial features. For example, if a dog tightens (使变紧) up its eyes and mouth while changing the position of its ears, this means the dog is scared. To master this skill, the AI program "saw" and "read" thousands of example images. 

How correct are the results? The researchers think they are trustworthy since the app has been tested many times. Interestingly, they have found that cats are harder to read than dogs. In the future, the app might also be able to analyze a pet's body to make its readings more correct.

Have you ever been to Dongting Lake? It's  for the name "800-li Donging Lake". Dongting Lake is in the northern part  Hunan Province. It is about 2,579 square kilometers in . It is one of the five largest freshwater (淡水) lakes in China. Every year thousands of tourists from all over the world  to Yueyang in order to enjoy the beautiful scenery (景色) around Dongting Lake. 

With the development of society,  Dongting Lake has become a hot topic. In fact, people in Yueyang are trying to  the environment of the lake. On the one hand, people set up East Dongting Lake Nature Reserve (东洞庭湖自然保护区) in 1982. It  a good place for birds and rare (珍稀的) animals. On the afternoon of April 25th,2018, thousands of people saw birds flying in the sky  elk (麋鹿) eating grass in East Dongting Lake Nature Reserve. On the other hand, factories mustn't pour  water into the lake. In this way, the water in the river is very clean and many fish are living in the clean water . Besides, colorful flowers come out and leaves turn green. 

Dongting Lake is our mother lake. Everyone in Yueyang should play a part in protecting it.

Though the P.E. class is a part of children's education, many teenagers don't form the habit of doing exercise. As a result, they don't have interest in sports. Enthusiasm (热情) for sports is of great importance. Young people should treat it as their part of education.
